This is a brushed SS strip(we also call it stainless steel strip) in PVD gold color coating processed by slitting. The original master coil can be 201/304/3041/316/409/410/420/430/439 28 or BA finish stainless steel coil by grinding and PVD coating, which is cut longitudinally by our slitting machine according to the width cutting size we preset(8 mm- 100 mm). These colored brushed finish stainless steel strips are best used to make advertising metal letters, 3D metal logos, wall decorations, furniture decorations, stainless steel letters, etc.

No.1 (HR). HR-finished strip coil has a scaled appearance and so is used when an attractive aesthetic is not a key concern.

2B.The most widely-used finish, 2B is characterised by its reflective, smooth grey sheen.
2D. As a matte finish, 2D displays a low level of reflectivity.
2E. This finish has a slightly rough, dull visual appearance.

Q6:What causes Edge Burr, and how is it minimized? 

A6: Burr is caused by the plastic deformation of metal during slitting. It's minimized by:

2. Correct knife clearance and overlap. 
3. Proper machine setup and maintenance. 
4 . Slower slitting speeds for harder/thicker materials 
5. Deburring processes (rounding, rolling)if specified.
